Xbox One owners will soon be able to browse Reddit right from their consoles. Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT) announced it was releasing an app for the self-described “front page of the Internet” Tuesday.

Microsoft says the Xbox One’s “ReddX”  is the first made-for-TV Reddit app. ReddX can be snapped alongside other content, such as games or videos, for big-screen multitasking.

“Xbox, go to ReddX,” said Larry Hryb, Microsoft’s director of programming for Xbox Live, in a video promoting the new app. Hryb often goes by his gamer tag “Major Nelson.” ReddX is also “the first app for Reddit ever built exclusively for a console,” Hryb said.

Users can log in to view and leave comments, as well as upvote (or downvote) posts, much like the desktop version of the site. Xbox One owners can use ReddX to watch embedded YouTube videos, as well as GIF animated image files.
