Yahoo Messenger 11 finally releases with new built-in social networking features

Yahoo’s expected upgraded messenger service, Yahoo Messenger 11, has been rumored for quite some time now. Now it is finally released. The upgraded messenger, however, has arrived with built-in new features.

The upgraded messenger service will let users update their Facebook status directly from the messenger itself. Yahoo Messenger 11 will even give them access to Facebook games such as Mafia Wars without even leaving the program.

The messenger will also let users tweet directly and comment on friends on Twitter, Pulse and Flickr. The user can post single updates across all networks.

The new version will also offer seven new skins for customization, Brothersoft News reported.
