Yahoo announced on Wednesday it has made an exclusive display advertising deal with Walmart.com.
Yahoo said it will be the primary marketing and sales channel for the sites display and video advertising. Walmart.com will ultimately become a participant in Yahoo's advertising management platform called AMP! that will be available to publishers later in the year.
This announcement builds on our strategy to be the partner of choice for leading brands looking to engage more customers with compelling offers online, said Todd Teresi, senior vice president for the Yahoo! Publisher Network.
Marketers will be able to take advantage of the partnership in the online retail category later in the month.
