Yale university lab technician, Raymond Clark, was released by police being questioned in connection to the slaying of graduate student who worked in the same lab.

Clark III was taken into custody Tuesday night at his apartment in Middletown, Connecticut, and was released into the custody of his attorney about 3 a.m. Wednesday, New Haven police said, the Associated Press reported.

Graduate student, Annie Le's body was found stuffed in the basement wall of a facility that housed the mice on which she conducted experiments on. Her body was found on Sunday, the day she was scheduled to wed on.

DNA samples of Clark were taken and police hope to determine in days whether he was involved in Le's death.

Clark has been described as a person of interest, not a suspect, in Le's death.
