The Japanese currency eased from early morning deal's multi-day highs against major currencies during New York mid-day trading on Tuesday. At 11:45 am ET, the yen dropped to 100.88 against the US dollar, 134.01 versus the euro, 148.99 against the British pound and 88.12 versus the Swiss franc from earlier multi-day highs of 99.87, 132.24, 145.89 and 87.11, respectively.
