Chelsea and Chloe on "The Young and the Restless"
Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan) receives an update on the search for Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) on the April 21, 2017 episode of “The Young and the Restless.” CBS

She was heartbroken to learn that the woman she considered her best friend had her fooled when it came to her husband’s death. Now, Chelsea will learn that it is going to potentially be harder than ever to track Chloe down and make her pay for the crimes she has committed on the Friday, April 21 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Previously on the CBS soap, Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan) got Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to admit on her wedding day that she had murdered Adam in the cabin explosion. The women got into an altercation which ended when Chloe managed to knock Chelsea out with a lamp and flea. She was last seen at the airport by Nick (Joshua Morrow), as Victor (Eric Braden) helped her escape town completely—and ever since, Chelsea has been upset that Chloe has disappeared. Now, she will head to Paul (Doug Davidson) when he calls her to give her an update, but she won’t leave with much hope.

“I came as soon as I got your message,”she says in a preview clip for the newest episode.

“I wanted to give you an update on the search for Chloe,”he replies.

Chelsea may initially have hope that there’s been a trace of somewhere Chloe may have gotten to, but Paul will have to quickly tell her he doesn’t have the kind of update she was hoping for, and unfortunately, there is still no sign of Chloe. And though Paul will try to console Chelsea over her guilt that she chose to believe in Chloe, she will still leave disheartened, because not only is Chloe dangerous, but she may never have to deal with the consequences of her actions.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
