“Scrub” actor Zach Braff helped a musician propose to his girlfriend in a new YouTube video that has gotten nearly 500,000 views.

The clip starts out with, “This is how Zach Braff, and a few other very important people, helped me propose to my girlfriend.” Braff then begins to tell Matt Hubert’s then-girlfriend, Janice, that he has an important question to ask her.

“Sorry, you caught me listening to one of my favorite songs by my good friend Matt,” Braff says in the video when it opens up to him with headphones on his ears. “He asked me to help him with a little question he’d like to ask you, Janice … And he’d like you to please consider being his wife.”

The video then begins to play a song written by Huber, who lives just outside of London, and a bunch of different members of Janice’s family and even some pets have signs that “Say yes!” At the end of the video, she agrees to marry Hubert. But how was he able to get the famous Hollywood actor to appear in a proposal video?

Braff has a donation page for his film “Wish I Wash Here” on Kickstarter.com, where he has raised more than $3 million. According to ABC News, Hubert donated $500 to the film, which earned him a shot out from the celebrity. “I’ll say or do pretty much whatever you want for 20 seconds,” Braff said on his Kickstarter page.

Hubert took to the YouTube page to thank everyone for the positive response he has received. “I wanted to think of a really cool way to propose to my girlfriend, Janice, and this song and video is what I came up with,” he wrote. “I wanted to show her that not only do I love her but that she's loved by all our friends and family too. This was particularly important as she hasn't been able to see much of her family for 7 years since she moved to the UK and she misses them lots.”
