A tribute service and a public viewing for Pastor Zachery Tims will be held Friday at the New Destiny Christian Center in Apopka, Fla., the church announced on its Web site.

The public viewing is between 3 and 7 p.m., while the tribute will follow at 7 p.m. and end at 9 p.m. A funeral service will take place the next day at the First Baptist Church of Orlando, where there will be a viewing from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Tims' interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Orlando, according to the New Destiny Christian Center's Web site.

The megachurch pastor was found dead last Friday in a New York hotel room. He was 42. His autopsy returned inconclusive, but police have told the media they suspect Tims died of a drug overdose. The New York Medical Examiner's office hasn't released a cause of death yet, and police have also said they don't suspect foul play.

Tims' unresponsive body was discovered by hotel staff. Authorities have told The Wall Street Journal that a bag of white powdery substance, believed to be narcotics, was found on Tims' body. He died leaving an estranged wife and four children. The couple divorced in 2009 after Tims admitted to a year-long affair with a stripper.

Tims' ministry has touched many lives, and his mourners continue to share their support.

Thank you Pastor Tims for opening permanent doors for me, read a post from one woman on New Destiny Christian Center's Facebook page. Because of you I actually am created new in order to be a better woman of God and I can say this with confidence.

The Examiner.com has reported that T.D. Jakes will deliver the eulogy for Tims' funeral.
