Spectators and royal fans in Edinburgh, Scotland, have gathered to witness the wedding of Britain's Zara-Phillips, the eldest granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth, and England rugby captain Mike Tindall.

Zara is known for her feisty nature and has often been tagged as a "royal-rebel" by her close friends and acquaintances. The headstrong royal, 13th in line to the throne, is known for her unique style statements and is a qualified physiotherapist specializing in Equine Physiotherapy from the University of Exeter.

The couple met during England's Rugby World Cup-winning campaign in Australia in 2003 through Zara's cousin Prince Harry.

Unlike the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, Zara-Tindall wedding is said to be more of a "sports-personality wedding" rather than a royal one.

In order to witness the royal wedding and ensure a front view, crowds started camping out overnight. Security has been increased all along to street and the bottom of the Royal Mile has been closed off to traffic.
