Zayn Malik Deletes Twitter Account: Tweeters Bash Perez Hilton For Saying One Direction Singer Is Quitting

Zayn Malik deleted his Twitter account on Tuesday evening, upsetting millions of fans, but after celebrity blogger Perez Hilton tweeted that he thought this is the beginning of the end for Zayn, referring to his career in the band, tweeters turned on the celebrity blogger.

British-Irish boy-band One Direction's stars Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson were shooting for a commercial on the sets of Nickelodeon and they decided to spice their day up by pulling a prank on their One Direction band-mates Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payn. They used the help of an actress that posed to be a pregnant producer from Nickelodeon and during the interview, had a sudden labor pain. It makes for a hilarious video when Styles, Horan and Payn get nervous and have no clue how to handle the situation.

Perez Hilton tweets Zayn Malik will be the first to leave One Direction.

Looks like Perez Hilton is dealing with a new generation of "celebrity juice, not from concentrate" readers and they don't like what he has to say, especially if it means bashing their beloved One Direction member.

It's thought that Zayn Malik deleted his Twitter account because of a lot of "hate" messages he had been receiving, according to his last tweets, which can now be seen on Perez Hilton's site.

The UK's Mirror reported that Zayn Malik was getting away from the mini-blog because many were criticizing his relationship with Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards. Some were claiming that their romance was a sham.

But sources who say they are close to Malik told the Mirror that the rumors couldn't be further from the truth saying, "They couldn't be happier, it's ridiculous that anyone thinks otherwise. When they're together it's like excited teenagers getting together for the first time."

Zayn seems to be following suit with his gal pal, who deleted her account in May for reportedly being abused by tweeters also.

The singer's last tweets before ultimately deleting his account from the Twitterverse were:

"my fans that have something nice to say can tweet me on the one direction account, :) x" and "The reason I don't tweet as much as I used to is because I'm sick of all the useless opinions and hate that I get daily goodbye twitter."

But his true fans don't want to give up on their favorite star just yet, #ComeBackZayn began instantly trending in addition to Perez Hilton, where upset Zayn fans told the blogger exactly what they thought of him.

@CorrinK_ said, "Perez Hilton needs to drink gallons of gasoline and throw himself in the fireplace. He thinks he is so relevant to everything"

@idklauren_ tweeted, "does Perez hilton think people care about his opinions"
