Zew survey slides in Germany and euro zone

German Zew survey (economic sentiment) for the month of May slipped to 45.8 compared with the prior 53.0 and median estimates of 47.0, while current situation reading inclined to -21.6 from -39.2, higher than forecasts of -33.0.

In the euro zone Zew survey economic sentiment fell to 37.6 in May relative to 46.0 in April and projections of 38.0.
