Seven members of the opposition were accused of being involved in a bomb plot in Zimbabwe.

They claim they were tortured into making false confessions.

They have been formally charged with terrorism, banditry and insurgency; allegations were brought before the court on Thursday.

All face the death penalty if convicted. They have all pleaded not guilty.
