Dancing With the Stars
Season 14 of "Dancing With the Stars" is in full swing! ABC via Facebook

The fourteenth season of Dancing With the Stars is in full swing -- with three eliminations down and eight more to go -- and injuries are already creeping up on contestants, including Cuban telenovela hunk William Levy and Little House on the Prairie alumnus Melissa Gilbert.

Levy, who is partnered with professional dancer Cheryl Burke, tweeted on Sunday that his right ankle is injured: Just Wanted to let u know that I injured my right ankle pretty bad during rehearsal.. MRI tomorrow. I'll let u all know .. Love u all.

Gilbert missed Tuesday's elimination episode thanks to an injury she sustained Monday night. The View co-host Sherri Shepherd would be the one to go, though, after an emotional goodbye.

Gilbert, however, seems to determined to keep on going and not let the injury get her down. The 47-year-old actress tweeted the following on Sunday: my salsa w/ @MaksimC es muy caliente!!& what's the best thing 2 do when u fall off a horse?Get rt back on.Watch 4 it at the end of our dance.

Levy and Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins are considered the favorites to win this season, although their fellow competitors are giving them a run for their money.

Jenkins, who is partnered with Mark Ballas, expressed her support for the ousted Shepherd in a blog posting for Parade magazine last week.

We were immensely relieved to have been saved (thank you so much if you voted for us) but gutted and shocked at the same time to see the very lovely and always cheerful Sherri Shepherd make her exit, Jenkins wrote. She didn't deserve to go and will be missed.

Singer and musician Gavin DeGraw has been improving after an initial struggle that found him in the bottom three twice. He's proved to be one of the most popular contestants this season.

His dance partner Karina Smirnoff has faith that he'll continue to improve his dancing skills. She recently tweeted her support for the popular crooner: @GavinDeGraw is doing great! Working extra hard! Don't let his humble attitude fool u. I'm seeing the competitive side. Love it!
