Angelina Jolie didn't beg four of her kids to choose her over their dad, Brad Pitt, contrary to reports.

In Touch recently claimed that the "Maleficent" actress doesn't want to share custody of her six children with her ex-husband. Jolie reportedly came up with a new plan that involved turning the kids against Pitt. Jolie allegedly urged Shiloh, Zahara, and the twins to choose her.

"She's already got the oldest boys [Maddox, 17, and Pax, 14] in her corner. Now she's trying to get the four youngest [Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 10] on her side," the tabloid reported. "She wants all the kids to tell the judge they want to live with her. She's begging them, 'Choose me!'"

The unnamed insider even claimed that Jolie spoiled her kids to win them over. Whenever they wanted to go shopping or hiking, she would give in to their requests. Pitt's ex-wife is reportedly willing to do dirty tricks to make sure that she gets full custody of them.

According to Gossip Cop, however, the report's claims are false. Jolie is apparently supportive of Pitt and their children's reconciliation. As a mom, she wanted all of her children to be on good terms with their dad.

"In terms of the kids' relationship with Brad, Angelina definitely remains committed to helping the kids heal with their father," a source told E! News.

It's also not true that Jolie is making her ex-husband look like the villain in their split. Another tabloid claimed that Jolie is "going to dangerous lengths to take down" Pitt. She allegedly starved herself to win the public's sympathy and make Pitt bad in their eyes. Again, Gossip Cop debunked those reports.

In related news, although Jolie and Pitt are working things out for their children's custody and things have been going better between the two, Pitt's parents don't enjoy the same rights. Jane and Bill Pitt haven't seen their grandchildren since Jolie hit the actor with divorce papers.

"The kids used to visit all the time," said Joy Edmond, a neighbor of Pitt's parents. "During the winter, we could see them sledding in the yard!"

"Jane spends a lot of time with Julie and her charity work," she added. "But you know she deeply misses Brad’s kids!"
