It seemed as if everything was set for Hope to get what she wanted with Thomas signing papers t let her become Douglas’ legal mother. However, things will take a shocking and unexpected turn on the Friday, Nov. 8 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Hope (Annika Noelle) sat and had a nice dinner with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) and Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) at Forrester with the intent of getting Thomas to sign the adoption papers which would allow them both to be legal parents of his son. With the exception of his taking Douglas away so they could have some private time on the CBS soap, things seemed to be going smoothly enough, with Thomas about to sign the papers and striking an agreement. However, something will change quickly, and things will take an unexpected and shocking turn.

“The situation between Thomas and Hope unexpectedly worsens,” spoilers reveal.

A preview clip for the week’s episodes shows the two running around the Forrester offices, with Hope desperately searching for Douglas in the design office and later berating Thomas as he chases her up some stairs. However, viewers know the stairs are also right above the big tub of hydrochloric acid that as being used by a cleaning crew to make some parts for the Forrester washers as good as new—and that hadn’t been cleaned up yet.

Considering the danger that will be just below them and the history of their confrontations not going well, it doesn’t appear as though this one will bode well either. Sure enough, spoilers seem to suggest that things will actually end much more tragically.

“Someone dies,” spoilers state.

With the focus likely on the two of them and their drama, as well as how it affects their parents, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), it seems likely that if someone will die, it will be one of them—and since he’s the one who tends to lead more with his emotions when he’s worked up, it seems most likely that Thomas won’t make it out of the confrontation alive.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
