Ohio gunman Kevin Allen was fatally shot on Thursday after shooting his wife and daughter at a Cracker Barrel restaurant because she said she was leaving him, police told the media.

Police said Allen, 51, from Strongville, also injured his other daughter. The girl was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, reported WOIO.com. Dead are Katrina and her 10-year-old daughter, Kerri. A second daughter, Kayla, is said to be in critical condition.

Authorities told the media that they were alerted about the shooting at 8:40 p.m. by a women who said she told her husband she was leaving him and that he didn't like that. She told authorities that Allen was circling the parking lot in his car.

We were standing right next to him when he shot them, witness Robert Lovlace told WOIO. He was a troubled man, you could see in his face. When the gun went off, we saw the fire come out, we ran, we took off.

Reports are that when officers arrived at the scene they heard gunshots and saw Kevin Allen leaving the restaurant in Brooklyn, Ohio. they reportedly exchanged fire and Allen was shot and killed.
