The Powerball drawing on Saturday did not produce any grand prize winners for the $76 million jackpot. Two players managed to become instant millionaires.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on Jan. 22 were 8, 14, 33, 36, and 67, with a red Powerball pull of 17. The Power Play was 2X.

Although no one hit the $76 million jackpot, which had a cash value of $53 million, a player from Florida hit the Match 5, winning $1 million. However, a player from Georgia was able to hit the Match 5 with a Power Play and won a $2 million prize.

Other people were also lucky enough to take home six-figure prizes. Following the latest jackpot drawing, only three people hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball with a Power Play, winning $100,000.

Meanwhile, there were nine Match 4 plus red Powerball winners that snagged $50,000 each. Other players won prizes between $4 to $200 from the night.

Since there were no grand prize winners from the Saturday night drawing, the jackpot has now grown to $82 million with a cash value of $57.2 million.

The latest Powerball drawing comes after a player in North Dakota won a second-place prize. The winning ticket was sold at a Superpumper convenience store in Bismarck. The player matched four numbers with the red Powerball and 3X Power Play, winning $150,000.

The Powerball costs $2 per play. Jackpot winners must match the six numbers on their ticket to the drawn six-number combination. Five numbers are selected from 1 to 69 for the white balls, and a number is selected from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
