The first two episodes of "Doctor Who" Season 8, including a rough cut of "Deep Breath," have leaked online. The BBC said the episodes were taken from the BBC Latin America headquarters in Miami, the source of the "Doctor Who" Season 8 script leaks.

A black-and-white cut of "Doctor Who" Season 8 premiere, "Deep Breath," and the second episode of the season are online although more episodes could be leaked. According to RadioTimes.com, The BBC Miami leak included six "Doctor Who" episodes, the scripts for the first five episodes of the season and also affected other shows on the network. Files for "Doctor Who," "Top Gear," "Call the Midwife" and "The Musketeers" were available via public searches, using Google, as well as marketing material, RadioTimes.com reported. The second episode of "Doctor Who" Season 8 also leaked online, SpoilerTV noted.

BBC issued an apology following news of the script leaks and in a statement to RadioTimes.com, the network said: "BBC Worldwide is currently investigating a security issue around "Doctor Who" Series 8 where unfinished material has inadvertently been made public." While a security issue could be behind the leak, RadioTimes.com said another explanation could be the servers were made public. BBC has urged people not to read the scripts or watch the episodes or post any "Doctor Who" Season 8 spoilers online.

Many "Doctor Who" fans are using #keepmespoilerfree to show support for the show, BBC, showrunner Steven Moffat, Jenna Oswald and Peter Capaldi. "Doctor Who" Season 8 features Capaldi as the new Doctor, replacing Matt Smith.

Speaking at the London Film and Comic Con, Moffat said the script leaks were "horrible, miserable and upsetting," reports the Daily Mirror. Moffat said he was currently writing the "Doctor Who" Season 8 Christmas special and also discussed his other hit show, "Sherlock," at the Con.

The "Doctor Who" Season 8 premiere, "Deep Breath," airs globally Aug. 23. Fans will get the chance to watch the world premiere of the episode as part of the "Doctor Who" World Tour. The tour kicks off in Cardiff, Wales and will host the world premiere of "Deep Breath," with Moffat, Coleman and Capaldi in attendance.

Entertainment Weekly has an official look at the "Doctor Who" Season 8 premiere and what to expect from the new Doctor. According to EW, "Deep Breath" is set in Victorian England and will feature Strax, Madame Vastra and Jenny Flint, better known as the Paternoster Gang. Moffat said the episode will focus on introducing Capaldi as the new Doctor, setting up character traits and his personality.
