Brazilian fashion model Gisele Bundchen and her NFL star husband, Tom Brady, have decided to sell their 14,000 square-foot mansion in Los Angeles’ Brentwood neighborhood.

The Huffington Post reported Wednesday that the couple has listed their mansion, which was bought in 2008 by then-single Brady for a reported $11.75 million, with the Westside Estate Agency for $50 million.

"Gisele and Tom spent a lot of time making sure that every inch of this home was made of the utmost quality," Eric Tan, Redfin real estate agent, told E! News. "Almost everything was custom designed, from the gym to the library to the pool lined with hand-poured glass tile."

"This home was really built for the likes of royalty," Tan added, "with walls made of three types of Texas limestone, an oak-paneled library, and a pool lined with hand-poured glass tile."

Bundchen and Brady reportedly spent around $20 million re-constructing the eco-friendly estate that features six bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen, a library, gym, infinity pool, waterfall and a koi-filled moat. And, according to reports, the couple will be making a profit of about $27 million if they manage to sell the property at its listed price of $50 million.

"A probable price for the home would be anywhere north of $27 million and could possibly be as high as $50 million," real estate expert Brendan Fitzpatrick told E! News. He added that it was one of the top celebrity homes in the area and one of only two homes in Los Angeles with a moat.

"Gisele and I have eight sisters between us, and there are lots of kids. We built this house as a sanctuary for our family - a place where we can enjoy being together," Brady told Architectural Digest last year. "It was important for us to plant roots for our family, and since we both enjoy the creative process, we decided to start from scratch."

Brady and Bundchen married in February 2009 and have two children together, Vivian, 1, and Benjamin, 4. Brady also has a 6-year-old son, John, from his previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.
