Green Bay Packers vs. Baltimore Ravens 2019: Prediction ATS, Betting Odds For Preseason Week 2

It’s hard to predict just about anything in the early part of the preseason, but one thing has remained constant over the last few years: the Baltimore Ravens win exhibition games.

No matter the opponent or how far away the regular season might be, John Harbaugh’s teams find ways to win. After shutting out the Jacksonville Jaguars 29-0 in their 2019 preseason opener, the Ravens extended their preseason winning streak to a remarkable 15 games.

Baltimore has a chance to go 16-0 in their last 16 exhibition games Thursday night when they host the Green Bay Packers.

The odds reflect the Ravens’ August dominance. Baltimore is one of the biggest favorites in Week 2 with the betting line at four points, per OddShark. The game’s total is 37.5

The Ravens don’t simply win straight up in the preseason under Harbaugh. The coach is 31-15 against the spread in preseason games, according to OddsShark, ranking second among all active coaches with a .674 winning percentage.

Matt LaFleur made his debut as an NFL head coach last week when the Packers beat the Houston Texans 28-26. Green Bay was a two-point favorite

The Packers went 2-2 in the 2018 preseason. Green Bay last posted a losing preseason record in 2013.

Aaron Rodgers will make his 2019 debut Thursday. The quarterback is expected to play close to a quarter of football before handing the offense over to DeShone Kizer.

Kizer was good in Week 1, completing eight of his 13 passes for 102 yards and a touchdown. He’s been one of the NFL’s worst quarterbacks since entering the league in 2017, posting a 58.9 passer rating with 11 touchdowns and 24 interceptions.

Lamar Jackson completed four of six passes for 59 yards and a score last week. He’ll presumably see more time under center against Green Bay.

The Ravens have won five straight preseason games in Baltimore by four points or more, defeating their opponents by an average of 14.2 points per game. Harbaugh’s team has lost at home in the preseason just one time in close to six years.

Prediction: Baltimore over Green Bay, 24-10
