Taiwanese mobile company HTC recently released its newest smartphone, the HTC Desire 19s. This new device is a low-budget, entry-level smartphone that brings in a decent set of features and specs for a price that will not break the bank.

To start off, the new HTC Desire 19s sports a 6.2 inches display. This display has an IPS technology with a 720p HD+ resolution, just the right number for online video viewing, watching movies, or playing mobile games. It has a 19:9 aspect ratio and a full view display with the now common teardrop notch where the front camera is situated.

It has a glass-made back panel where half of it has a smooth finish while the lower half has a grainy feel to it. The front glass panel for the display has a Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Inside the device, it is run by a mediaTek Helio P22 chipset. It has 3GB worth of RAM along with 32GB worth of internal storage. Now since that is understandably low for today’s standard of application and media, it naturally comes with a microSD slot expansion.

As for the camera department, this new XDesire 19s sports a triple camera setup in the back. First off is the main 13 megapixels main lens for the usual photo and video taking. Next comes the 5 megapixels ultra-wide angle lens for panoramic an ultra-wide view shots and videos. Last off is another 5 megapixels depth camera for bokeh shots.

Other interesting features of this new device include a 3,850 mAh battery capacity with 10W super-fast charging capability. It still sports the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack and it has NFC capability, too.

This device runs on Android 9.0 Pie with HTC”s own Sense UI on top of it. Currently, the device is only available for purchase in Taiwan for TWD 5,990 or around $195 only. Expectedly, this device will also be released internationally and, specifically, the US. Meanwhile, HTC has yet to make any announcements for that.
