Tribal clashes in Western Libya have left 105 people dead and 500 injured, the BBC reported.

The week long violence stems from tensions that arose under the Gaddafi regime, when one tribal group was given land expropriated from another.

The ruling National Transitional Council (NTC) have struggled to maintain peace in the country after Gaddafi was ousted from power last year.
