U.S. stocks opened slightly lower on Monday, pressured by lingering concerns over fraud charges against Goldman Sachs .

The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was down 6.57 points, or 0.06 percent, at 11,012.09. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was off 0.94 points, or 0.08 percent, at 1,191.19. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> fell 5.08 points, or 0.20 percent, at 2,476.18.
