Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are not snubbing Donald Trump despite skipping a major event with the POTUS.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not attending a major royal event where Queen Elizabeth II, Kate Middleton, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles are attending. Donald and Melania Trump are also expected to be in attendance in the same gathering.

The POTUS and FLOTUS are in London for the two-day NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) summit. Melania was photographed waving and smiling under her umbrella as she made her way to the helicopter on the White House Lawn on Monday.

In June, the president and first lady of the United States also visited Buckingham Palace. However, Markle did not meet them because she was still on maternity leave. This time, the Duchess of Sussex will still not join the Trumps.

Despite skipping an event with Donald and Melania, this is not an apparent snub because the royal couple is in a six-week vacation. They are not expected to attend any event because they are taking a break from their royal duties.

Donald and Markle had issues against each other before the latter joined the royal family. The former “Suits” star was among Donald’s critics. She reportedly referred to the POTUS as “divisive” and a “misogynist.”

Meanwhile, reports claimed that Trump called Markle “nasty.” But he denied it a day before he met the royal family.

Although Markle did not join the royal family for the state banquet Queen Elizabeth II hosted for Donald, her husband was there. However, Prince Harry was criticized for his somber demeanor.

“Harry did look grumpy and as if he didn’t want to be there,” royal commentator Ingrid Seward said of the new dad.

“Whatever his personal feelings, it’s his duty to support the Queen regardless and take a tip from his grandmother who has never allowed her personal feelings to interfere with her duty. It’s bad manners and rude.”

Prince Harry and Markle also snubbed Queen Elizabeth II’s Christmas invitation. Sir Rod Stewart felt that the couple was being inconsiderate by not thinking about the Queen’s age.
