NBC’s crime dramedy, “Good Girls,” airs its Season 2 finale on Sunday, but the Jenna Bans-created series will be back.

Last month, the network renewed it for Season 3, only a few weeks after Season 2 first started airing.

“We’re so excited to continue following the friendship and adventures of these three incredible women while also exploring relatable issues in both funny and surprising ways,” Lisa Katz and Tracey Pakosta, Co-Presidents of Scripted Programming for NBC Entertainment, said in a press release. “Congratulations to Jenna Bans, and our amazing writers, cast and crew who give these stories depth and humanity.”

A release date for Season 3 of “Good Girls” has not yet been set, but it will once again premiere during NBC’s midseason schedule in early 2020.

With the show not canceled, fans can have a stress-free watch of tonight’s Season 2 finale (episode 13), titled “King.” Well, as stress-free as an episode of “Good Girls” can be.

“Turner [James Lesure] has Beth [Christina Hendricks] in checkmate,” the synopsis reveals, and “the women must contend with a rotten egg from the past; Rio [Manny Montana] makes a grand gesture for Beth; a new business opportunity presents itself.”

The Season 2 finale of “Good Girls” airs on NBC on Sunday at 10 p.m. EDT.
