'1,2 Switch'
'1, 2 Switch' is a new mini-game collection that has players staring at their friends instead of the TV. It's a party title meant to be played anywhere at any time. Nintendo

Nintendo’s upcoming Switch console will come with a handful of games at launch, but one title looks to be more distinct — to put it mildly — than the rest. From Reddit via The Verge, clips for several of the games in the minigame collection 1-2-Switch have been uploaded to YouTube.

In 1-2-Switch, players use the Switch’s Joy-Con controllers to compete against each other in a variety of motion and gesture-based games. The game is among several on Nintendo’s Switch launch title list and retails for $49.99.

In Shaver, players have to simulate shaving their facial hair using the controller:

In Samurai, players compete to strike their opponent with a simulated samurai sword. Using timing, the opposing player can catch the blade in their hands to prevent a successful strike.

In Beach Flag, players compete by racing and running in place to retrieve a flag.

In one of the more unique entries, players must gently handle the Switch tablet to prevent a young child from crying in Baby:

Feature-wise, 1-2-Switch shares much of its sensibility with more casual-friendly Nintendo games like Wii Sports and WarioWare. The quick mini-game structure is designed to be easy to pick up and play for families and parties. The game also fits a niche against the rest of the Switch’s original launch titles, which include enthusiast and casual games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild, Super Bomberman R and Snipperclips.

The Switch will launch March 3 with an expected retail price of $300.
