The Resurgence of Commercial Real Estate with Brosnan C. Hoban

In the last year, the commercial real estate sector has seen dramatic changes from devastating to revival as the world begins to resume normality with vaccinations being distributed more and more across the country. While covid still poses a threat, for the most part, the economy is thriving and the commercial real estate industry is a clear indicator of that with large sums of capital being invested back into commercial real estate—an industry that no one would even go near just a year ago. One emerging real estate entrepreneur has remained resilient through it all, hunkering down and taking the good with the bad over the last 16 months, committed to the success of his business—Pittsburgh-based Brosnan C. Hoban.

Having grown up around real estate, following in the footsteps of his father who is known as another real estate magnate in the Pittsburgh area, Hoban has earned his success thanks to hard work, relationships and perseverance. But at the onset of the pandemic, Hoban was met with incredible challenges that he was forced to overcome. Implementing new technology and infrastructure in order to adhere to covid mandates and social distancing, the entrepreneur realized the importance of being able to quickly adapt, regardless of the challenge. Working with his tenants to make it through such a tumultuous year, Hoban looks back with gratitude for the lessons the pandemic has taught him.

“My tenants have inspired me in so many ways,” Hoban says. “They have fought through so much adversity during this pandemic and now see light at the end of the tunnel. Things are finally getting back to normal.”

Still, Hoban remains focused on what’s to come, with plans to forge ahead with new opportunities and real estate deals in Pittsburgh. Now with the uptick in commercial real estate activity, his business is poised to thrive once again as he looks forward to capitalizing on the demand for commercial real estate space.

“ I am very optimistic about the future,” Hoban says. “ A s an entrepreneur it is important to stay positive and clear your mind of any doubt or negativity that starts to creep in. As more people get vaccinated and businesses start to get back to full capacity, it gives me hope that the remainder of 2021 will be an amazing year. ”
