Princess Eugenie may have been upstaged by her mother Sarah Ferguson, who caught the attention of netizens due to her brilliant facial expressions.

The Duchess of York was happy during Princess Eugenie's royal wedding, and it definitely showed on her face. According to Joe Gamp, a journalist for Express, Ferguson stole the show on her daughter's big day with her animated display during the emotional ceremony.

For the occasion, Ferguson wore a striking green dress designed by Emma Louise Design. She paired it with a matching hat and a vintage Manolo Blahnik handbag. Prince Andrew's ex was in such good spirits that even Twitter users couldn't help but notice her.

"Fergie's faces are the best thing about the #RoyalWedding so far!" Grazia UK wrote.

"OH MY GOD..I was just about to type the same..I quite like it ha ha, should have put a wand instead of a hat pin in it as well," Laura Avery agreed.

"Looked at the comments specifically to see if someone had the same thought as m," another user wrote.

"She certainly always creates an impression," TerhiMG added.

Another user explained that Ferguson's animated reactions were normal among moms of the bride. "As the mother of a recent bride, I can understand that long sigh!" Carolyn Wright wrote.

In related news, prior to Princess Eugenie's royal wedding, Great Speech Writing shared some hilarious ideas of what could have been Prince Andrew's speech at the reception. The made-up speech made fun of Ferguson's toegate scandal and Camilla Parker Bowles' snubbing the event.

"[Fergie] I'll never forget you dressed head to toe in white under a perfect sun...Nor seeing you with head even closer to toe on the front page of the Sun," the made-up speech read. "You have said that I'll always be your handsome Prince."

"And as we know, marriages may fail but love never dies," the speech continued implying Ferguson's access scandal when she promised reporters to give access to the Duke of York in exchange for money. "Particularly when undercover reporters are happy to pay a few hundred grand for access to yours truly. I really think you could have taken them for a little more darling."
