Snoop Dogg wants to convince the White House to legalize pot, and he's got a special strategy all worked out.

The rapper - a longtime advocate for marijuana legalization who got arrested for pot possession in Texas this weekend, accordng to TMZ - told Hot 99.5's Toby Knapp that he'd discuss this matter of national importance as soon as he got President Obama chilled out and relaxed.

Before I even said 'hi' to President Obama, I would change the aroma of the room ... And then we could start conversing after we had that aroma change. You know what I'm talking about? he told the radio host.

Snoop Dogg then went into further detail about how he and rapper Wiz Khalifa would bring the leader of the free world into the bathroom for five minutes and take him on a paper plane ride, a.k.a get high like Air Force One. After some time on the basketball court, Snoop Dogg would use his phenomenal lobbying skills to get the president on his side.

We get that understanding that this is what needs to happen in order to make the world go 'round. You gotta be real superficial about certain laws. They legalized alcohol, they legalized tobacco. What is it gonna hurt to legalize this medicinal, medical marijuana that's used for purposes of cataracts? Snoop said.

Marijuana is already legal in some states for strictly medical purposes. Obama opposes legalizing the drug nation-wide, but the rapper does have some politicians on his side. Democratic Sen. Barney Frank and Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul introduced a bill last summer to end the federal ban on pot, calling the current war on drugs ineffective and a waste of taxpayer money. But we're going to bet they wouldn't endorse Snoop Dogg's strategy.
