NEW YORK, Dec 11 - Teachers Insurance & Annuity Association of America on Friday sold $2 billion of 30-year surplus notes, said IFR, a Thomson Reuters service.

The 6.85 percent notes were priced at 99.873 to yield 6.86 percent, or 237.5 basis points over comparable U.S. Treasuries.

The issue was sold through joint lead managers Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley. (Reporting by Pam Niimi; Editing by Dan Grebler)
