Tottenham Stars Take A Swing To Pochettino’s Claim Of Having Other Agendas; Stars Believe Head Coach Is Leaving For Man Utd

Tottenham Hotspurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino risked a major backlash when he claimed that his players have other agendas. The accusation surfaced following the team’s humiliating defeat to Colchester that also marked its exit at the Carabao Cup. According to reports, Tottenham stars furiously reacted to the accusation of their head coach.
Mauricio Pochettino publicly slammed his players after Tottenham’s defeat to League Two side Colchester. The Sun recently reported that a source close to some Tottenham players reveals that the stars think it was Pochettino who is preparing to leave the team and not them. Additionally, the players are not impressed with their head coach and what he said is not helpful for the team.
Tottenham stars also think that Mauricio Pochettino’s accusation was unfair. Some members of the team are convinced that their head coach will grab the first sign of an opportunity to leave Tottenham and has set his eyes on Manchester United. The Spurs’ head coach hit out at Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen and accused them of running down their contracts.
Last summer, Eriksen revealed his interest in transferring to Real Madrid, but the Spanish team never finalized their interest to the Spurs’ midfielder. Tottenham captain Harry Kane has defended his teammates following a troublesome start to the campaign. In an interview with SkySports, Kane said that there might be players who wanted to leave the team, but now that the transfer window is closed they have to give their best for the team.
Tottenham Hotspurs players are also puzzled by Mauricio Pochettino’s outburst. The source also revealed that they believe the head coach can get very mad when things do not go his way. The players do not have any grudge against Christian Eriksen considering that the midfielder was always honest and vocal about his desire to play for Real Madrid.
The latest incident continues to tie Mauricio Pochettino to Manchester United, and it is expected not to die down soon. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is currently under fire and is facing an insurmountable amount of pressure. Manchester United is flagging in the eighth spot in Premier League list and needed penalties to win over League One side Rochdale in the Carabao Cup.
Mauricio Pochettino was once rumored to replace Jose Mourinho before Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was given the job permanently last March.
