U.S. stocks erased losses with major indexes turning positive in late afternoon trading on Monday.

The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was up 0.07 of a point, or 0.00 percent, at 10,620.23. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was up 0.06 of a point, or 0.01 percent, at 1,135.74. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> was up 2.81 points, or 0.12 percent, at 2,349.66.
