International Business Times (San Francisco edition) has compiled the world’s most famous celebrity break-ups that took place in 2011.

Interestingly, June was a cruel month with six of the ten couples announcing their split.

Celebrity break-ups are not uncommon news and we don't like to celebrate breakups, but we imagine more than a few fellas are happy to hear the news.

We wonder how many more couples will be added to the 2011 break-up list.
