Beyoncé had a lot on her plate at the Super Bowl 50 halftime show, with both an incredible performance and the announcement of a new tour. Luckily for the singer, she had some pretty good support from her family throughout the day before the big 2016 mid-game event.

The 34-year-old singer took the stage alongside Bruno Mars and headliner Coldplay at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. She previously headlined the Super Bowl halftime in 2013, so she and her family knew the general swing of things. As a result, both her husband and daughter were on hand throughout the day’s rehearsals to show their support. According to Us Weekly, the performer’s husband, rapper and business mogul Jay Z, got the support ball rolling by sending Beyoncé 10,000 roses. The flowers reportedly came during a rehearsal on Saturday and pulled double duty as a way to congratulate the singer on both her Super Bowl gig, as well as the release of her new single “Formation,” which dropped the same day.

In addition to the roses, Jay Z made sure both he and their daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, were on the field during setup for the big show. The singer posted a slew of behind-the-scenes photos to Instagram, showing her practicing for her performance. In some, her daughter and husband can be seen watching intently from the sidelines while Queen Bey practiced some choreography on the empty field.

As E! News notes, Jay Z and Blue Ivy weren’t the only family members Beyoncé had on hand at the Super Bowl. After watching her daughter’s performance, Tina Knowles took to Instagram herself to share her excitement. As those who watched the big show on Sunday will note, the combination of practice sessions and family support seemed to have worked as the event at Levi's Stadium went off without any noticeable hitches, except for maybe just one exception.
