A 140-year-old, 20-pound lobster confined 10 days in a tank inside New York restaurant is going to be freed, after PETA's request to release the ancient crustacean on Saturday Kennebunkport, Maine.

That's what a Manhattan lobster got Friday, when the 20-pound crustacean named George was caught off the coast of Canada about two weeks ago and bought for $100 and become restaurant mascot, said Keith Valenti, restaurant manager.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is applauding and huge Thank You to City Crab and Seafood for allowing the old-timer to live out his days in freedom.
