Adobe Systems has released the latest iteration to its professional photo editing software, Lightroom, on Monday on its website.

The software is the fourth beta version to be released, with the company offering free downloads to the public to help it find bugs.

Lightroom works with RAW data formats, providing professional photographers with a digital workflow, and showcasing and importing capabilities, as well as photo selecting and retouching options,

Photoshop Lightroom is an excellent example of how Adobe is harnessing assets from its Macromedia acquisition, said Joe Wilcox, Jupiter Research analysts, in an official brief on the research firms website.
