Amal Clooney looked chic as she was dressed down while arriving at the Tegel airport in Berlin ahead of the Berlin Film Festival Wednesday. The human rights lawyer joined her actor husband George Clooney and the entire cast of the film at the capital city. Berlin Film Festival will premiere with “Hail, Caesar!” Thursday.

Amal Clooney, who celebrated her 38th birthday with husband and friends Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber at their restaurant Friday, tried to cover her face in a baker boy hat while deplaning at the airport. The style icon was impeccably dressed in all black -- distressed skinny jeans, paired with a simple black long sleeve polo neck T-shirt.

She wrapped up in a black long coat that ran up to her thighs. Her sleeveless coat featured an oversize pocket on the left and chunky black buttons. Amal slung a black cross body bag over her shoulder. It featured a thick braided sling detailing and fringe or tassel detailing.

Amal’s bag appears to be by Italian designer Joseph Altuzarra. The Ghianda Bullrope Small Saddle Bag is made of black smooth calfskin and is styled with a braided strap tipped with long tassels. However, the striking part of her ensemble was her choice of footwear – knee-high leopard print slouchy boots.

The British-Lebanese lawyer made a statement through her casual yet quirky sense of style. Amal broke the all-black tone of her ensemble with her brown boots and matching baker boy cap. Her long brunette tresses were let down in curls.

She wore pink lipstick, black eyeliner and mascara. Amal, who showed no signs of tiredness after a long flight, showed off her deep brown manicure as she made way to a waiting car with her husband. She accessorized with small drop earrings.

Meanwhile, the 54-year-old George looked dapper in blue jeans, black shirt paired with an overcoat and suede lace-up boots. The Hollywood heartthrob showed off his salt and pepper hair and sported brown sunglasses.
