Syria has been in a state of turmoil and worsening violence for more than a year as a popular uprising against President Bashar al-Assad's regime has been met with brutal repression. During the cease-fire, Reuters photographer Khaled Al Hariri was able to capture pictures of the Syrian people going about their daily lives in the capital of Damasacus.
