Doe-eyed beauty Anna Hathaway is known for her sartorial choices on the red carpet, and on Wednesday, she took to Instagram and posted a playful picture of herself in a luxury headgear. The “Les Miserables” actress posed for a selfie with a black Givenchy bag placed on her head like a hat.

“Dear @givenchyofficial , Your stunning reinterpretation of “the hat” is both revolutionary and awe inspiring. And so roomy! I shall wear mine with pride. Yours in trend-settingness, Annie,” the actress captioned the picture.

The bag that the “Devil Wears Prada” actress wears in the picture appears to be the classic Givenchy “Nightingale” satchel. This relaxed yet elegant classic silhouette from Givenchy is a timeless staple. It is in leather, finished with signature silver tone hardware and an adjustable shoulder strap. The luxe bag is priced at $2,238.

Known to be a trend setter in terms of style, the actress opted for a gold hooded dress for the 2015 Met Gala. She is not afraid of taking fashion risks and at the London premiere of “Les Miserables”, she wore a backless dress. The floor length gown featured pearls and was by Givenchy.

Meanwhile, Hathaway is all set to make a fashionable comeback in her new film “The Intern”, where she plays a fashionista after “Devil Wears Prada”. The 32-year-old also featured on the September issue of InStyle cover. In the intimate interview, she opened up about harsh criticism she faced during her career.

The actress’s gold gown was custom made by Ralph Lauren. The gold lamé hooded gown featured fibers in the yellow metal. She accessorized with Repossi jewels and a Benedetta Bruzziches clutch.

Hathaway recounted how she lost the Delfina Delettrez diamond ring that she wore along with her ensemble. She talked about the dangers of borrowed diamonds, remembering how her ring landed in the radiator of the Standard Hotel, but she could recover it.
