There has been no New Zealand earthquake – none of the apocalyptical proportion that Harold Camping expected – and he has just been proven a false prophet.

Camping said ‘Doomsday’ would begin with an earthquake at 6 p.m. local time in New Zealand. Then, it would roll across the world and strike each country at 6 p.m. local time.

So far, it didn’t occur in New Zealand. It didn’t in Australia, Japan, and China either. Six p.m. local time didn’t arrive in Europe and the United States yet, but at this point, it’s meaningless to wait for them.

Moreover, there have been no reports of rapture anywhere (i.e. 200 million believers being lifted into the sky).

Below are ‘anti-countdown’ clocks for Wellington, Sydney, Tokyo, and Beijing, showing how much time elapsed since 6 p.m. local time there (i.e. how much time since the failed prediction).

Six p.m. hasn’t arrived in Europe and the US yet, so their ‘Doomsday’ countdown clocks are still counting down. In a few hours, however, they’ll join Asia and count the time elapsed since 6 p.m. local time.
