Taylor Burnham
Taylor Burnham was arrested early Sunday morning for driving drunk while wearing only cowboy boots. Neuces County Jail

It wasn't your average traffic stop. Early Sunday morning, a naked 18-year-old girl was arrested in Texas for driving drunk while wearing only cowboy boots.

Taylor Burnham was approached in an alleyway by Corpus Christi police officers who were responding to a report of a suspicious person, according to a police report. The teenager was naked from her head to her knees, as she was wearing a pair of cowboy boots. That's Lone Star State fashion for you.

When she saw the cops at about 3:10 a.m., Burnham jumped into her Jeep Wrangler and drove off. The police officers followed the naked girl in their police vehicle, as she slowly fled the scene, according to the police report. She turned into a nearby neighborhood and drove up onto a sidewalk before stopping her jeep.

As police approached her, a disturbing scene played out on the streets of Corpus Christi:

The offender had just finished urinating on the sidewalk where she was standing, as evident by the splash marks on her brown boots and the observation of liquid on her left leg, the police report states.

It goes on to delicately explain that the offender was crying uncontrollably and had an over-powering odor of an intoxicating beverage emitting from her person. Her speech was slurred and she continually repeated her statements about being 18 [years old], how she works 5-6 days a week and that she wanted to call her parents.

Police said in the report that she submitted to field sobriety testing and completed two Breathalyzer tests, which said her blood alcohol content (BAC) was more than double the legal limit, the report stated.

A female police officer helped her get dressed before they hauled her back to the station and charged her with misdemeanor DUI, but the report did not include information about why she was naked. The police also charged her with a felony count of evading arrest in a vehicle, and she was released from Neuces County custody Monday after coughing up a $3,500 bond.

Just another night deep in the heart of Texas.
