British Airways, Europe's third largest airline, said on Wednesday it expected year revenues to rise 5 6 percent, lower than previously forecast, due to baggage restrictions.

The airline had previously forecast revenues to rise 6 to 7 percent for the year to end March 2007.

BA also said its passenger load factor, which measures how well it filled planes, fell 0.8 points in September to 78.8 percent.

The airline said its September passenger traffic rose 1.5 percent in the month.
