Talk show hosts Ellen DeGeneres and Barbara Walters didn't approve of The Bachelor this season.

Walters said she watched one hour of the show's season finale -- and that was more than enough.

I lost an hour of the rest of my life watching the last hour of 'The Bachelor,' she said on The View on Tuesday. I did it knowing that we were going to talk today.

She described this season's star, Ben Flajnik, as an ordinary guy with bad hair, and that wasn't the worst of it.

I think this show is such a degradation to women, she said to applause.

But if Walters thinks that wasting an hour of her life watching The Bachelor is bad, she need not look further than her fellow co-host, Elizabeth Hasselbeck, who did the calculations and realized she herself has spent more than 500 hours of her life watching The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.

You could be having sex with your husband, co-host Sherri Sheperd told her.

Meanwhile, it seems as if DeGeneres tried to warn Flajnik against proposing to model Courtney Robertson.

Take a look!
