Actress-comedian Wendy Williams thinks that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani should have taken their relationship slow after their respective divorces with Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale, according to a report in Life & Style magazine. After much speculation about their affair, Stefani’s representative confirmed earlier this month that “The Voice” coaches were dating.

In an interview in the latest issue of the magazine, Williams said that the two should have given more time after their divorces before making things public. "I'm all for these two shacking up -- they're both newly single, fresh on the dating scene, and there's no better time for Blake and Gwen to rescue each other. But if I were them, I'd play it cool and keep it on the DL [down low]!" Williams told the magazine, according to Classicalite.

It was recently reported that Lambert was “shocked” to see Shelton move on fast after their separation and was jealous of Stefani. “How could she [Lambert] not be just a tad bit jealous? Gwen is absolutely gorgeous and Blake appears to be completely smitten with her,” the insider reportedly told Hollywood Life.

“Miranda could tell by watching them on the show that they had a certain chemistry. … but she never knew it would develop into such a close relationship so fast,” the source added.
