Casey Anthony’s funds have been running low, but it seems she’s so desperate that "Tot Mom" might be turning to porn to pay her bills -- if the National Enquirer is to be believed.

Anthony became "the most hated mom in America" after she was accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee in 2008. She was acquitted in 2011.

A source who claims to be close to the situation told the magazine about Anthony, now 26: “Casey is flat broke with no way of repaying her debts. She’ll never get a regular 9 to 5 job ... no publisher or TV network will give her a deal for her story.”

There probably is some truth to that statement, but saying that Anthony is going to turn to the adult film industry just to make some cash is a stretch.

The Hollywood Gossip reported that porn studio Vivid wouldn’t offer the accused murderer a deal—which is coming from the company that allegedly begged 37-year-old Nadya “Octomom” Suleman to do a porn with them for years until she finally decided to work with rival Wicked.

But the "insider" who spoke to the Enquirer insists that Anthony will be making a pornographic film:

“Casey has already gotten offers from executives at various companies that stream porn and anonymously contacted women who have made this their career."

"Many of them are students and bored housewives, and they encouraged her to go for it. ... Casey could cash in by going public and using her real name."

“She may be one of the world’s most hated women, but there’s always been a twisted fascination with her, and she can cash in on that notoriety.”

“You can bet she’ll quickly move into the hardcore XXX-rated material because that’s where the real money is,” the source nauseatingly added.

Lifetime recently made a television movie, “Prosecuting Casey Anthony” about the case that premiered Jan. 19.

The film stars Rob Lowe as prosecutor Jeff Ashton but only merited a 5.6 on the Internet Movie Data Base.
