The newborn daughter of country music singer Randy Rogers and his wife Chelsea Rogers died Tuesday night at Seton Memorial Hospital in Austin, Texas, according to recent reports. Randy Rogers, who is the lead singer of Randy Rogers Band, asked fans to offer their condolences by making a donation to a children’s charity of their choosing.

The band confirmed the death via Twitter. “We are sad to say that Rumer Rain Rogers passed away last night,” Randy Rogers Band tweeted Wednesday. “She was well loved, well cared for and in her parents loving arms.”

Rumer Rogers was the couple’s second child. Their first daughter was born in 2013, according to The Boot.

A post on the band’s Facebook page said Rumer Rogers died of “natural causes.” Randy Rogers, 33, told the Houston radio station 93Q that his daughter died of a “very rare condition” and that her “brain…was very sick.” However, he did not provide further detail. “I’m sure you all have many questions and we have all the answers the doctors gave us,” Randy Rogers added. He said a memorial for his daughter would be planned “soon.”

Rumer Rogers was born June 3 in Austin. She weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces and measured 20 inches long, according to Randy Rogers, who shared the news of Rumer Rogers’ birth on his Facebook page, saying “Everybody is happy and healthy!”
