The full list for Season 14 of the hit show Dancing With the Stars has been released, and one of the star picks makes for an odd but welcome choice: Singer Gavin DeGraw.

The crooner and musician is famous for hits such as Chariot and I Don't Want to Be. The latter tune is the theme song for The CW show One Tree Hill.

DeGraw tweeted his glee over his new gig: I'm excited to be on this season of Dancing With The Stars.

He will be partnered with professional dancer Karina Smirnoff, who helped U.S. veteran J.R. Martinez boogie his way to victory last season. DeGraw's competitors include Jaleel White of Family Matters fame.

Season 14 is going to be very exciting and entertaining, Smirnoff told People magazine. We have so many diverse personalities and talents this season.

Now let's see if and how DeGraw manages to juggle learning the necessary dance moves with touring the country. He is scheduled to tour throughout the month of March, according to his website. This includes performing in Indiana on March 17 and in Texas on March 20.

The new season premieres on March 19 at 8 EST.

Good luck, DeGraw!
