A brother and sister from Britain were reunited after more than 30 years when they met via a dating website.

Sarah Kemp, 42, got reunited with her 47-year old brother George Bentley after joining dating website ForgetDinner.co.uk last November, only to find out they were siblings.

Kemp, who now stays in Edinburgh, travelled to London to meet her brother after exchanging emails for three months.

The siblings told The Sun they only realized they were related while chatting about their childhood years over a pub lunch.

The siblings were born in Ashford, Kent, but were separated in the 1970s when their mother and father split.

Kemp, who was six at the time, joined her mother in Edinburgh and Bentley, 11, went with his father to live in London.

As adults, Kemp, a cleaner, said they tried to search for each other but had no luck.

Can you imagine the surprise, joy and embarrassment we both felt? It was such a crazy thing, she said. We had so much in common and really enjoyed each other's company. It was as if we had known each other all our lives.

Bentley, a builder from East Ham, London, said: I had absolutely no idea where she was. I was searching for Sarah Bentley, rather than Sarah Kemp, as I obviously didn't know she married. After a while, I think both Sarah and I gave up looking.

And despite their embarrassment, they celebrated the reunion with a bottle of champagne - and spent the rest of the evening getting slowly sozzled, The Sun report said.
