Dell announced that it is looking to hire more employees for its Ottawa customer service center on Friday, as well as create additional training programs for its existing employees.

The world's largest personal computer manufacturer said that it is looking 500 new technical support professionals as part of its $150 million company wide investment to improve customer services.

To meet our goal to resolve every customer issue in one contact, we're elevating our skills, said Michael Jaillet, Ottawa site director. Locally, this means additional career training and hiring agents with advanced hardware and networking skills, and operating system certification.

The company is seeking candidates with two years experience with CompTIA A+ certification or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification.
