Here's a rare spot of good news for former Lehman Brothers Chief Executive Richard Fuld: the vilified Wall Streeter and his wife, Kathleen, sold their Park Avenue apartment for $25.9 million, according to New York City property records.

The Fulds paid about $21 million in 2007 for the apartment, which has 6,200 square feet, 16 rooms, five fireplaces and four bedrooms. The apartment was purchased on August 14 by Glenn Fuhrman, a co-founder and co-manager of Michael Dell's personal investment vehicle, MSD Capital.

The couple, whose wealth took a hit from Lehman's bankruptcy nearly one year ago, were looking for $32 million, the New York Observer reported earlier this year.

An online real estate news website, therealdeal.com, was first to report the sale.
